transformative choral experiences
At Mount Royal Kantorei, we believe that choral music should be immersive and experiential.
In 2023, and again in 2024, we established and hosted the Kantorei Choral Festival, a 4-day event for choirs and choral directors from all over the world. Featuring masterclasses and clinics, the Festival culminated in a mass choir event with 300 choristers on stage at the Bella Concert Hall.
In 2025, we took a break from the festival to focus on competing for the Fleishmann International Trophy in Ireland, where we won the PEACE Trophy at the Cork International Choral Festival.
In 2026, we hosted Luminous Night of the Soul, with composer Ola Gjeilo and conductor Dr. Irene Messoloras. The event attracted more than 300 choristers from around the world and culminated in a sold-out performance in the Bella Concert Hall.
In 2027, Kantorei Choral Festival will return, bigger than ever, with a new line-up of artists and clinicians. Watch this space!
