There are many ways to support Kantorei!
If you love to sing, consider joining the choir. If you are a lover of music, attend our concerts or take a peek at our virtual concerts, youtube videos, and upcoming member projects section. If you'd like to take a more passive support stance, consider donating to Kantorei.
Interested new singers are welcome to attend our open rehearsals, where our Artistic Director will talk to you about setting up an audition. A prepared solo is not required; the audition simply evaluates vocal range and tone quality, vocal technique and tuning, tone and rhythm memory, and sight reading. If an open rehearsal is not imminent, please contact email@example.com to discuss your options. Rehearsals are held in the TransAlta Pavilion on the mezzanine level in the Taylor Center for the Performing Arts.
*** Due to COVID-19, all rehearsals are cancelled until health and safety measures can keep new and returning members safe.***
Take a look at our Member Handbook to get a feel for our Society and the choir.
Mount Royal Kantorei is fortunate to have members of many talents, both within and without of the Arts. Our Member Projects is a place for us to brag about the accomplishments of our membership outside of our choir in whatever chosen art they practice. We don't mind if it's hobbyist, amateur, or professional; the Arts are an integral part of the human experience.
